AMITA's

Margaret MacVicar Memorial Oral History Project at MIT

An AMITA fund established a project for UROP students to capture MIT women's histories.  The program is led by Professor Margery Resnick, and the final interviews are collected in the MIT archives.  You can view the Preliminary Finding Aid to the Alumnae Oral History Collection (MC 356) from the MIT archives.  If you visit MIT and wish to view any of the transcripts and some of the tapes please contact the MIT archives 24-48 hours ahead for them to retrieve the pertinent boxes.   Check their hours before going.    (should move this to info to amita.old which talks about the project and Margery and refer to it from here,  maybe as a separate page for who should be interviewed! -- swk)
